Great casual boots!

I purchased these boots once I realized that every one of the boots in my shoe assortment had either a heel or wedge and weren't terribly appropriate for the deep winter freeze. I needed a combine of casual boots that I might throw on to overcome the snowy/icy streets. I already own the Siri boots by Miz Mooz and was very impressed by the standard. I noted the similar styling of those boots (namely the buttons/ruffle on the side) and set to offer them a attempt (the Black Friday deal offered by Amazon did not hurt either!)
Color: I ordered "Khaki", that could be a terribly neutral shade that matches virtually something in my closet color-wise (it's neither brown nor gray, simply a pleasant taupe). the colour will have variation to it, that makes the boots look slightly rugged and casual.
Style: The wedge that's pictured is moderate and that i cannot feel any uplift when carrying them. The buttons on the aspect are therefore cute!
Grip: it absolutely was terribly icy this past weekend and that i did feel one foot slipping for a second (but did not find yourself on butt thankfully) therefore i might say that the traction is average. the actual fact that the boot is flat helps.
Sizing: I feel this boot fits big; i am typically a seven.5 therefore that is what I ordered and they are terribly roomy within the toebox. I simply might have sized all the way down to a seven (or probably even a half-dozen.5) and still wear jeans/boot socks. i believe what adds in to the roomy feeling is that the toe box is wide.
The shaft is what i might say is a median width; I actually have thinner calves and it is not as tight because the Siri's, however it is also not huge (I hate the rainboot look unless i am carrying actual rainboots).
Height: i am unsure why these are referred to as "Knee-High". i am 5'3" and that they fall many inches below my knee, that is ok by me as a result of it's precisely the height i used to be longing for.
Comfort: Wore them for ten hours the primary day I had them and simply might have worn them for ten additional. terribly comfy.
All in all, massive thumbs up!
